2019 NCGS Conference


Dream, Dare, Do: Girls as Makers, Inventors, Engineers, and Entrepreneurs (June 24-26, 2019, at Westridge School in Los Angeles, CA) will allow educators to explore essential questions and ideas about the pedagogies, tools, physical space, and mindsets necessary to create environments in which girls can take risks, try new things, and shatter stereotypes.

Educating Girls Symposium

NCGS is seeking proposals for presenters for its one-day Educating Girls Symposium, Leading Schools, Leading Girls: Preparing for the Future. Share best practices on your area of expertise with fellow educators in Baltimore on October 18, 2019, at The Bryn Mawr School. The Call for Proposals is open until August 7, 2019.

The Educating Girls Symposium will address the competencies and skills necessary to be an effective leader, and how schools are cultivating these skills in both the students and adults in their communities.

2019-2020 HEADWAYS Online Conversation Series

Pre-register for the 2019-2020 HEADWAYS series, which provides girls' school educators the opportunity to connect by videoconference to discuss operational issues relevant to their posts. Available exclusively to NCGS member schools, participants meet in small cohorts during the school year for five one-hour facilitated conversations about prearranged, timely topics.
